Our Mission
Ollie & Associates' mission is to empower small and mid-size businesses (SMBs) with expert Human Resources, Business Operations, and Supply Chain Management consulting services, fostering growth, efficiency, success, and long-term client relationships.


Our company is named after Ollie, our eight-year-old golden retriever, who embodies the intelligence, loyalty, and strong work ethic we bring to our clients.
Ollie celebrated his 9th birthday in April of 2025. He is everything anyone could want in a dog. He's terrific with every living soul. However, if he thinks his people are in danger, he becomes a superhero (think Captain America, but better).
He's brilliant, sweet, loyal, kind & honestly, the best dog ever.

Lynn Rogers, SHRM-CP
Lynn is a Society of Human Resources Certified Professional with 25+ years of experience in HR. She enjoys working with small—to medium-sized businesses, assisting with interviewing, recruiting, employee onboarding, conflict resolution, and team collaboration. Lynn also specializes in bringing clients' HR programs into compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and ordinances. A company that has fallen out of compliance could incur tens of thousands of dollars in fines.
Lynn is pursuing her Master's in Human Resources at Western Governors University (WGU). In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, traveling, building Legos, and spending time with her family, dogs, and cats.
Chief Operating Officer/Partner
Mark is the COO of Ollie & Associates. Mark has 25+ years of experience in business operations, procurement, vendor management, and inventory optimization. He has held key roles at Advance Auto Parts, Pep Boys, and TMEIC.
His specialties include:

Mark lives in Roanoke with his family and pets (including Ollie).
Fun facts about Mark: He loves sailing, playing guitar, his kids and pets, axe throwing, and G.I. Joe (knowing is half the battle!).

Our Story
Like so many of the business owners we help, we formed our business out of a desire to control our own destiny, share what we're best at, and help other people do their work.


Company founders Lynn Rogers and Mark Manning had both spent years improving their skills, but whether for better compensation or alignment of values, needing to find new employers.
Lynn and Mark each decided they didn't want to go through the process of finding new work again. As people who were passionate about serving the world, they wanted to work with other business owners who were passionate about what they did – and were ready to do it on their own terms.

Community Involvement
Lynn and Mark love being a part of the Roanoke Community, and after Lynn spent years in nonprofit work, she hasn't left that spirit of service behind, so Ollie & Associates makes community involvement a key pillar of their operations.
They are active members of the Roanoke Regional and Salem Chambers of Commerce and are Roanoke Chamber Ambassadors. They are one the volunteer board of the Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center.
They volunteer with SWVA Wildlife and the SWVA Ronald McDonald House.
